Terms of Use for The Silo Cooking School

Welcome to The Silo Cooking School. Please carefully review the following terms and conditions, as they govern your participation in our classes and events. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Ticket Policy

    

   • All tickets purchased for our classes and events are non-refundable.
   • Tickets are transferable to another individual at no additional cost. However, they cannot be exchanged for cash or any other monetary equivalent.
   • A full refund is available if requested within seven days of the original purchase date, provided this request does not fall within seven days of the scheduled class.
   • Buyers may opt to switch to a different class offering, provided the request is submitted no less than one week before the original class date.
2. Optional Insurance

    

   • To ensure maximum flexibility, we recommend purchasing optional insurance coverage. This insurance allows you to switch classes or miss a class without losing your ticket.
3. Photography and Filming

    

   • Please be aware that we may take photographs or film during classes for marketing and promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image for these purposes only.
4. Safety Recommendations

    

   • For your safety, we strongly suggest purchasing a cutting glove, or you may choose to bring your own. This is to ensure utmost protection during hands-on activities.
5. Legal Jurisdiction

    

   • All matters related to these terms will be governed by the laws of the state of Connecticut. Any mediation or legal proceedings will take place in Connecticut.
6. Health and Safety

    

   • It is the responsibility of each participant to inform us of any food-related allergies or health concerns prior to attending a class.
7. Rescheduling and Cancellation

    

   • Should you fail to meet the rescheduling or cancellation deadline, and have not purchased the optional class insurance, you will forfeit your ticket without eligibility for a refund or credit.

Additional Provisions
The Silo Cooking School reserves the right to amend these terms as necessary. Participants will be notified of significant changes. We strive to maintain a safe, enjoyable environment for all attendees and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
